PromptDawn respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid notices of alleged infringement.
Filing a notice
If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, send a notice through the contact page including all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The exact URL of the material you are asking us to remove, with enough detail to locate it.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
What happens next
Valid notices are actioned promptly. We will remove or disable access to the material and, where a contributor is identified, notify them of the removal.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or contributors that repeatedly infringe will have their access terminated.
