This policy explains what information PromptDawn ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. An email address if you subscribe to the newsletter, and the name, email and message you send through the contact form.
- Information stored in your browser. Your theme preference, saved favourites and recently viewed prompts are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us.
- Usage information. Aggregate counts such as how many times a prompt was viewed or copied, and anonymous search terms used to build trending lists. These are not linked to an identifiable person.
- Technical information. Standard server logs including IP address, browser type and referring page, retained for security and diagnostics.
How we use it
To operate and improve the library, to send the newsletter you asked for, to respond to your messages, to detect abuse, and to understand which content is useful.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not require an account to browse, search or copy prompts. We do not use your submitted content for advertising profiles.
Third parties
We may use analytics and advertising providers. Where advertising is displayed, those providers may set their own cookies — see our Cookie Policy. Any provider we use is required to handle data in line with applicable law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. Clearing your browser storage removes your favourites and preferences immediately.
Data retention
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months. Server logs are rotated regularly.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers.
